About This Spot
Stepping into moCoo, you’re instantly drawn into a world apart from the usual Panglao rhythm—a gentle retreat where Moroccan charm blends effortlessly with Philippine warmth. Nestled slightly away from the bustling beach strip, this restaurant unfolds at a slower, more deliberate pace, inviting you to settle in and unwind amid its artful interiors and calming outdoor views.
The atmosphere at moCoo is quietly captivating. Rich tones, soft music, and carefully curated decor evoke the feeling of a distant bazaar under gentle island skies. It’s a space where time seems to pause just enough so you can savor not only your meal but the gathering itself. Here, meals are less about rushing and more about moments shared—whether with friends or simply your own thoughts.
What truly shapes the experience are the layers of flavors inspired by Moroccan influences yet rooted in local sensibilities. Dishes arrive richly seasoned, inviting you to explore unexpected harmonies—from the smoky depth of their black risotto to the tender complexity found in slow-cooked tajine beef. The fresh yet bold cocktails complement each bite, enhancing the ease of conversation and reflection. Attentive staff, attentive without hovering, add a personal touch that makes you feel less like a guest and more like a welcome part of this little island enclave.
moCoo’s allure isn’t just in its food or design but in its ability to create a soothing environment where travelers and locals alike can pause, discover flavors anew, and bask in the quiet luxury of thoughtful hospitality. It’s the kind of place that lingers in memory as a gentle highlight of a day spent exploring Bohol.

great ambiance and service! the staff were very attentive. the food was seasoned deliciously. however there were some pieces in the kebab platter that was unevenly cooked and the freshness of the grilled shrimps were questionable. their shakshuka was great and definitely the highlight on our orders. i hope they improve the kebab platter. would go back to try their other dishes!

Easily one of the coolest and tastiest places to eat in Alona. Whilst not on the beach, the Moroccan atmosphere and amazing cocktails and food make it a necessary stop for anyone looking for an amazing meal. If you’re after Filipino food with a mix of Moroccan style cooking this is the place to go.

We recently visited this Moroccan-themed restaurant and the place really stood out. The interior and exterior design are beautifully done, and the whole vibe feels relaxing even from the outside. The view is also a big plus. The food servings were generous, and everything we ordered was worth it. The staff were also very accommodating, special shoutout to Jiefferson for taking great care of us. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

Absolutely Amazing Brunch Experience at Mocoo, Bohol! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. The waiters were attentive, polite, and genuinely made us feel at home…always serving with a smile and checking in without being intrusive (super super attentive). The ambiance is something special. So peaceful and relaxing vv perfect for a laid-back brunch. Whether you're sitting inside or enjoying the outdoor vibe, the whole place has this calm, cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. And the service? Top-tier! Everything was served promptly, beautifully plated, and with such care. You can really tell they put pride into what they do. I myself would highly recommend Mocoo for anyone looking to enjoy great food, warm service, and a tranquil setting in Bohol. Can’t wait to come back! And try another food napud hehe.

It's the coolest place I have visited in the Phillipines. We entered the place and immediately felt like in Morocco. The setup, the music and the atmosphere where exact. We had a wonderful waiter by the name of Jifferson whom you should listen to as his recommendations were very good. We had the autumn salad, the ink risotto and the slowed cooked beef with annanas. The three dishes were very very good but the autumn salad was my favorite. The red wine was also a good surprise. Don't miss a visit to this amazing restaurant if you are in Bohol. It's a must

During my last night in Bohol, I tried this Moroccan-inspired restaurant and wow, the interior is impeccable!! Every corner is thoughtfully styled, from the furniture to the fixtures. You can really tell no detail was overlooked with this 2-story building. For appetizers, I had the spicy surf & turf meatballs (₱199). There’s a lot going on texture-wise. The shrimp and chicken wrapped in crispy, fried molo strips, but it works. Definitely a solid and flavorful starter. For mains, I couldn’t skip the kaffir lime seafood laksa (₱499). It’s spicy, as expected, but what stood out most was the rich, peanutty broth, which I absolutely loved!! I paired it with the ocean ink risotto (₱589). It literally tastes like the Philippine sea hahaha briny and bold yet surprisingly creamy, topped with fresh grilled squid. Overall, a great dining experience. The service team was attentive and welcoming, greeting guests with warm smiles throughout!! I hope they open their branch here in Manila.
